My work is based on ideas/concepts rather than style–materials are chosen according to what feels appropriate in the moment. Inspiration is found in feminist, religious and political sources creating an intensely personal iconography. The intention of every encounter with paper, board or canvas, is to work without thinking and with the images that present themselves in the working process.
